Voice talent and content creator Inka Magnaye is still on cloud nine after hearing her voice in her first-ever DC film project.

"The emotions going through me when I heard my voice on the big screen last night left me speechless. Me! In a DC movie!! And my whole family was there!!," Magnaye said in a Facebook post.

The content creator was tapped to voice the Scarab in the Philippine release of Warner Bros. Pictures entitled "Blue Beetle."

The screening was held at the IMAX Theater in SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City on Tuesday, August 15, 2023.

Inka is the voice behind the Scarab, called Khaji-Da—the alien technology attached to the body of main protagonist Jaime Reyes, portrayed on screen by Xolo Mariduea—in the Philippine theatrical release of the movie.

According to Warner Bros. Philippines, Magnaye is the first Philippine-based Filipino talent to do voiceover work in a DC film.

"And I'm the only one doing this. I'm the only one dubbing the Scarab in the entire region. The other countries aren't even doing that," she said during a press conference on August 9.
