Former first lady Imelda Marcos is overly thrilled and seemingly lost all her ailments over the victory of his only son, President-elect Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. in the recent national polls, according to her daughter Senator Imee Marcos.
"Siyempre ang nanay ko sobrang excited niya at tuwang-tuwa siya sa mga pangyayari. Suddenly able to hear, to walk, lahat ng sakit-sakit noong panahonng COVID-19. Lahat ng nararamdaman biglang nawala, malisking-maliksi at parang 'di na siya 92 kundi 29," Marcos told reporters at the Batasang Pambansa ahead of the proclamation of his brother on Wednesday.

Imelda, the widow of the late dictator Ferdinand Marcos Sr. is currently enjoying her freedom despite being convicted by the Sandiganbayan of seven counts of graft.
She was sentenced to a maximum of 77 years in prison but skipped the promulgation due to old age and "multiple organ infirmities." She later posted bail amounting to P300,000.
In the same interview, Imee also shared that their family is grateful for the second chance given to them by the Filipino people.
