The legendary OPM band Imago is back, delivering music that hits straight to the heart.

In an exclusive interview on Scene Zone, the band shared insights on their latest EP "Pasimple," which captures the ups and downs of modern relationships.

“Ayaw ko sabihin mabigat e, pero it’s very heartfelt yung lyrics, tapos tagos sa puso,” Tim shared, describing why their music continues to resonate with fans, even the Gen Z crowd.

Fresh from a press con and EP launch, the band revealed the hard work behind their first official studio release under Sony Music Entertainment.

“Sobrang happy din and proud na lumabas na siya finally kasi we worked hard for this,” Kurei said.

Pasimple explores the reality of love and relationships, from happy times to moments of heartbreak.

“Kasi syempre kapag nasa relationship ka, marami kang mararamdaman na pagdadaanan. Happy times, may times na magulo na. You try to work things out and then eventually, na-realize namin, ah, hindi pala. It won’t work out.” Kurei explained, highlighting the honesty behind their lyrics.

Fans can also expect the signature Imago sound of guitars and emotionally charged lyrics, combined with fresh creative input from collaborators like Cray, Braymon Malasigan, and Buddy Zabala. The band even shot music videos in Japan for two of the tracks, showing their commitment to global-quality production.
