Ibajay, Aklan Vice Mayor Julio Estolloso was shot dead inside the Ibajay Session Hall on early Friday, August 8.

RH Sherwin Alfaro earlier reported that the vice mayor was immediately rushed to the hospital after he was shot by an unknown suspect.

Based on initial reports, authorities believe that the suspect may be a member of the Sangguniang Bayan or Municipal Council. However, investigations are still ongoing to confirm the identity and motive of the suspect.
