Both labels of the Hallyu couple Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin released official statements denying rumors about divorce and alleged gambling addiction involving the real-life partner.
On March 15, a Youtuber uploaded a video claiming that the "Crash Landing On You" co-stars mutually agreed to a divorce rooted in Hyun Bin gambling abroad and Ye Jin suffering from financial loss, using the title 'Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin divorce in six months of marriage... Shocking!'.
VAST Entertainment, Hyun Bin's agency, said that these claims are 'groundless and fake news'.
"We are constantly monitoring the rumors. We plan to take legal action after an internal review," the agency added.
Ye Jin's agency, MSteam Entertainment, echoed that the content of the now-deleted video was untrue.
"This is obviously fake news. We are constantly monitoring [the situation] internally, and we have already requested YouTube to delete the video. We will take strong measures, and we also plan to take legal action in relation to the content [of the video]," it stated.
Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin has tied the knot on March 31, 2022, in a private wedding ceremony. Months after, the two welcomed the birth of their baby boy.
