The House of Representatives will be awarding P3M incentive to Filipino gymnast Carlos 'Caloy' Yulo for his triumphant win in the 2024 Paris Olympics, clinching a gold medal for the Philippines.

Ako Bicol Partylist Representative Elizaldy Co, Chairman of House Committee on Appropriations, highlighted the honor that Yulo brought to the country.

With his gold medal snatch, Yulo has proven that Filipinos can compete with the best athletes in the world.

Additionally, Yulo serves as an inspiration to all young Filipinos who are interested in any field of sports.

As a way to show continued support for exceptional Filipino athletes, the Congress will also provide cash incentives to other athletes who will be winning medals at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
