The Magnolia Chicken Timplados Hotshots and the San Miguel Beermen will seek to grab a 3-2 lead in Game Five of the 2023-2024 PBA Commissioner's Cup Finals Series.
After losing in the first two games, the Hotshots managed to tie the series after beating the Beermen, 96-85, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao Quezon City last Friday, February 9.
Tyler Bey finished with 26 points and 12 rebounds while both Andy Barroca and Paul Lee scored 14 points for the Hotshot to win Game Four.
Lee buried the three-point basket that put Magnolia up, 27-17, in the first quarter.
However, an 11-point run allowed San Miguel to take the lead, 70-67, in the third quarter.
The Hotshots regained control of the game after a lay-up by Ian Sangalan put them up, 87-79, and, from there, they never let go of the lead.
Junemar Fajardo chipped in 18 points and 13 rebounds while CJ Perez, who received his Best Player of the Conference award prior the match, added 17 points for the Beermen that trailed behind by 13 points at most.
Game Five will kick-off at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Sunday, February 11.
