Senator Risa Hontiveros disclosed on Thursday the Red Notice document from the Interpol, revealing that the arrested Chinese national in Benguet, disguising as a Cambodian national, is a high-value fugitive in China.

This revalation further solidifies the statement of the Senator Hontiveros during a joint Senate Committee hearing on Monday stating that arrested foreign individuals in the PAOCC operation was only disguising as a Cambodian national.

"Ayon sa PAOCC, IT manager si Liming ng Lucky South 99, ang POGO na tinulungan ni Roque aregluhin ang mga utang sa PAGCOR," Hontiveros said in her Facebook post.

Hontiveros mentioned the concerning nature of the numerous foreign criminals in the country because of Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGO).

"It appears this fugitive and Roque run in the same circles," the senator mentioned.

"While a ban was already announced, we in the Senate need to craft measures to ensure that this industry never comes back again," she added.

On July 27, operatives from the Bureau of Immigration (BI), Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC), Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG), and Philippine National Police (PNP) conducted a raid on a residential property in Tuba, Benguet. The operation targeted five Chinese nationals, of whom only two were apprehended.
