The head of the Hong Kong socialite Abby Choi, whose body was dismembered following a financial dispute with the wealthy ex-husband's family, was found in a soup pot, authorities said Sunday.
According to a report from South China Morning Post, police found Choi’s missing head and some of her ribs in a big soup pot.
This comes days after her dismembered legs were found in a fridge in a makeshift butcher's workshop in a floor flat, part of a three-storey house in Tai Po, a suburban part of Hong Kong not far from the border with mainland China.
Authorities said the house was equipped with an electric saw and a meat grinder that had been used to mince human flesh. "Two pots of stew believed to contain human tissue" were left at the scene, said superintendent Alan Chung.
They also found the model and social media influencer’s identity cards and credit cards in the ground floor flat.
Police said the house had been rented by the socialite’s former father-in-law a few weeks earlier,
On Saturday afternoon, Choi's ex-husband, Alex Kwong, and her former in-laws were arrested.
Choi, who recently appeared on the digital cover of the fashion magazine L'Officiel Monaco, was first reported missing on Wednesday.
