Sandro Muhlach clarified that other charges against the two independent contractors, Jojo Nones and Richard Cruz, remain despite the Pasay court’s dismissal of the acts of lasciviousness raps.

In an Instagram story on February 13, Thursday, he clarified that the acts of lasciviousness charge, which was dismissed by the Pasay Metropolitan Trial Court (MTC) Branch 46, is just one of the two cases filed against the two individuals.

“The case wasn’t dismissed, just one of the charges. The court removed the acts of lasciviousness charge because it’s already part of the sexual assault case, which is still ongoing,” he wrote, adding, “Meaning, mas matindi ang magiging kaso.”

The actor furthered that they would file a motion for reconsideration for the acts of lasciviousness raps, adding, “Hindi sila makakalusot dito at ilalaban ko ‘to hanggang huli!”

“I will make sure na hindi na kayo makakaulit sa iba! #ENDRAPE,” he ended.

In another Instagram story on Friday, Sandro reiterated, “Hindi pa tapos, see y'all in court!”

Sandro’s Instagram stories came as a clarification about the Pasay MTC Branch 46’s dismissal of the two counts of acts of lasciviousness against Nones and Cruz. According to media reports, the Pasay RTC indicated that the case was an “overkill” because it was already part of the ongoing sexual assault case.

Meanwhile, Senator Jinggoy Estrada said that the court’s dismissal of the acts of lasciviousness is based on “mere technicality and does not, in any way, diminish the gravity of more serious charges, rape case, he filed which is pending before a separate court in Pasay.”

News about the case made rounds on social media in 2024 after a blind item claimed that a new artist was sexually harassed by two network executives while a gathering took place in a hotel. It was then followed by multiple Senate hearings, opening the conversation for strengthened laws on sexual abuse, harassment, and assault.
