Just days before Mother's Day, actress and socialite Heart Evangelista opened up about her recent miscarriage as she penned a bittersweet letter addressed to her son 'Francis.'
In an Instagram post, Heart said losing her "fourth angel" is one of her "biggest heartbreaks" but this nonetheless allowed her to "feel so much love."
"A few days ago our baby boys heart stopped beating," she wrote.
"This will be our 4th angel … and although this could be one of my biggest heartbreaks … thank YOU for still for trying to be with me and for making me feel so much love already," she continued.
The fashion icon said she would “keep her heart intact” as he would someday “find [his] way” back to her and her husband, Senator Francis Escudero.
"Even if I'm heartbroken I will keep my heart intact while you find your way back to us," she wrote.
"To all the mothers, fur moms, mothers to friends, thank you for your heart and all the women like me… going through [the] same struggle… Happy Mother’s Day. Francis Ko, my Francis, I love you anak," she ended.
In March, Heart revealed that she was also expecting a baby sometime in February but "she didn't make it."
She also lost her twins in a miscarriage in 2018 which made her realize how much she wanted kids “so badly.”
In February, Heart and Chiz renewed their vows in Balesin, almost ten years since they got married in 2015.
