Actress and fashion icon Heart Evangelista and her husband, Senator Francis 'Chiz' Escudero renewed their vows on Thursday, February 15 as they marked their 9th wedding anniversary!
On her Instagram account, Heart shared a video of their intimate ceremony held at Balesin Island Club’s Royal Villa where they first exchange "I do's" and declared their lifetime commitment to one another.

The 39-year-old fashion icon adorned a diamond necklace and donned a beige gown and veil which was custom-made by Lebanese fashion designer Elie Saab. While her husband was clad in an all-white suit.
In her interview with Harper's Bazaar Singapore, Heart said she knew that she would wear the custom couturier dress the moment she laid her eyes on the design during a fashion week.
“Elie Saab has a special place in my heart—it was one of the first shows I ever attended in fashion week. I’ve always loved their dreamy and romantic creations, and when I saw the custom couture dress, I knew that was it,” she said as quoted by Harper's Bazaar.

Present during the renewal ceremony were the couple's close friends and family, including Heart's mother Cecile Ongpauco who walked her daughter down the aisle.
According to Pep.ph, Cecile did not attend her daughter's wedding back in February 2015 due to her disapproval of the senator.
In 2022, split rumors surfaced after Heart removed the Escudero surname from her Instagram profile, and posted a painting she made that conveys "one's own world." But the actress immediately dismissed the rumors.
