Following their breakup, Korean actors Ryu Jun-yeol and Han So-hee have both withdrawn from casting offers to star in a webtoon adaptation.
According to Soompi, a source from production company SHOWBOX stated terminating the talks of Ryu and Han appearing in the series “Delusion” which follows a painter in a historical mystery drama.
“Discussions on Ryu Jun Yeol and Han So Hee’s appearance in ‘Delusion’ have been halted. The production of ‘Delusion’ will proceed as is,” SHOWBOX said.
Meanwhile, Ryu Jun Yeol’s agency C-JeS Studios stated the production company’s request to stop the discussions to prevent “any damage to the project.”
“Ryu Jun Yeol was in the early stages of reviewing [the offer to star in] ‘Delusion,’ and it is true that the production company requested that we discontinue the discussions. As we should not cause any damage to the project, we felt responsible for this incident and agreed to suspend the review,” C-JeS Studios said.
The actors were offered to star in the webtoon adaptation in March before their dating news was confirmed through Han’s blog post.
The two broke up yesterday, two weeks after their dating confirmation as issues ensued in their relationship.
