The Southwest Monsoon or habagat will bring rains over western sections of Southern Luzon and Visayas on Monday, September 25, PAGASA reported.

Based on PAGASA's latest forecast, MIMAROPA, Western Visayas, Central Visayas, Zambales, Bataan, Cavite, and Batangas will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms caused by the Southwest Monsoon.

Eastern Visayas and Masbate will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the trough low-pressure area (LPA).

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms caused by localized thunderstorms.

Wind speed will be light to moderate in the western sections of Luzon and Visayas as it moves in a southwest-to-southeast direction, while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.

The rest of Luzon and Visayas will have a light to moderate wind speed moving in a northeast to northwest direction, while the coastal water will be slight to moderate.

Mindanao, on the other hand, will also experience light to moderate wind speed moving in a southwest to west direction with a slight to moderate coastal water.

Sunrise will be at 5:45 AM, while sunset will be at 5:50 PM.
