Some parts of Luzon and Visayas will experience rain and cloudy skies on Friday, July 28 due to the Southwest Monsoon, or habagat, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
Meanwhile, PAGASA also reported that it is currently monitoring two weather systems.
Based on the state weather bureau’s 3 AM bulletin, Typhoon Doksuri or formerly called as Egay was seen outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), over 385 kilometers northwest of Itbayat, Batanes.
It has maximum sustained wind of 150 km per hour (kph) with gusts up to 185 kph and is moving 15 kph to the northwest.
On the other hand, tropical Storm Khanun was last located 1,300 kmeast of Eastern Visayas, packing maximum sustained winds of 65 kph and gustiness of up to 80 kph and moving west southwestward at a speed of 18 kph.
