Ahgases beloved icons, GOT7 is back for their much-awaited comeback with the extended play (EP) “Winter Heptagon.”

The K-pop group welcomed the release of their album alongside the music video for the title track, “Python” on Monday, January 20. After nearly three years, the group finally released an EP under their partnership with the major South Korean label, Kakao Entertainment.

According to Kakao’s press release, all members actively contributed to the creation of the mini album, with at least one or two members credited as lyricists or composers.

The EP was fronted by “Python,” produced by one of the group’s members, Bambam. Kakao mentioned in its press release that the song "features pop melodies combined with hip-hop beats, portraying an inescapable fate between those who are meant to be together.” Meanwhile, the members charmed in their sultry makeup and black suits for the track’s music video.

As promotion for the EP, the K-Pop group will perform at music shows and hold a two-day concert in Seoul, South Korea from February 1 to 2.

GOT7 had visited the Philippines twice as a group as part of their world tours. The group visited the country for “The Flight Log: Turbulence” tour in Manila in 2017, and the “Keep Spinning” tour in Manila in 2019.

But don’t fret, because two GOT7 members will be revisiting the country this year. Bambam is part of the lineup for the upcoming Waterbomb Festival in Manila this coming February; while Jay B will hold a solo concert in March.
