Justin Brownlee finished with 18 points and 13 rebounds while Maverick Ahanmisi added 16 points for the Gin Kings to earn their first win in the best-of-seven series.
The Gin Kings never trailed after ending the third quarter with a three-point advantage, 62-59.
Rondae Hollis-Jefferson tallied 24 points and 14 boards, while Poy Erram scored 12 points as they paced the Tropang Giga that trailed behind by 13 points at most.
The Gin Kings has a chance to tie the series when they face Tropang Giga again on Game 4 on Sunday, November 3, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
