A three-point basket by France Cabinbin allowed the Filipinas to tie the score, but a lay-up by Leger-Walker and two free throws by Reed gave the lead, 76-72, to New Zealand for good.
Leger-Walker registered 34 points, and Reed chipped in 23 points for the victory of the Kiwis.
