The Filipinos kicked their bid to qualify for the 2025 FIBA Asia Cup with a 94-64 rout of Hong Kong on Thursday, February 22.

Justin Brownlee scored 16 points, and Kevin Quiambao added 15 markers for Gilas Pilipinas to snag the win at the Tsuen Wan Stadium in Hong Kong.

Kai Sotto also finished with 13 points and 15 rebounds for the visitors.

The Philippine National Men's Basketball team never felt threatened after back-to-back baskets by Brownlee and Dwight Ramos sparked a 12-point run that widened the gap, 65-45, in the third quarter.
