OPM singer Gigi de Lana admitted that she is still in pain after experiencing a road mishap with her band members while on their way to Ilocos Norte on May 14.

Gigi said that she is now recovering from several bruises, particularly on the left side of her body, and she was at the hospital the other night.

She added that all her tests and scans were all clear, saying that the results of her X-rays and CT scan came back safe and nothing serious had been detected.

The singer narrated that during the accident, she was not wearing a seatbelt since she laid down to rest.

Despite the accident, her band decided to push through with the show since the event was for the people, and performing has been the band’s passion, showing professionalism to fulfill their commitment despite what happened.

She further explained that they all went to see a doctor prior to proceeding with the event for their safety, and they were all cleared and advised to perform.

However, Gigi fainted in the middle of her performance in Ilocos Norte and was assisted off-stage by the emergency staff.

She clarified that she didn’t faint, and the incident was the shock after the accident, as she felt the pain, felt dizzy, and could not control her voice. That is why she was brought back to her hotel room.

On Monday morning, her band, The Gigi Vibes, expressed their heartfelt gratitude and asked for apologies to the crowd in Ilocos Norte who watched their show.
