<p>Lorenzo 'Larry' Gadon has formally taken his oath as Presidential Adviser for Poverty Alleviation.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Gadon shared the photos of his oath-taking ceremony on his official Facebook page on Monday, July 10.&nbsp;</p>
<p>President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. led the oath-taking ceremony&nbsp;at Malaca&ntilde;ang Palace.</p>
<p>"Maraming salamat, President Bongbong Marcos 🇵🇭," he captioned in the Facebook post.</p>

<p>In a separate Facebook post, the anti-poverty Czar thanked his team who he said supported him in difficult times.</p>
<p>"Mga magiging katuwang ko sa paglilingkod. Maraming salamat sa inyong suporta, #TeamGadon 🇵🇭," he said.</p>

<p>Last June, Gadon was <a href="https://www.dzrh.com.ph/post/larry-gadon-named-presidential-adviser-for-poverty-alleviation" target="_blank" rel="noopener">named </a>as the next Presidential Adviser for Poverty Alleviation.&nbsp;</p>
<p>His appointment drew flak, especially when the Supreme Court (SC) <a href="https://www.dzrh.com.ph/post/gadon-disbarred-by-the-supreme-court" target="_blank" rel="noopener">confirmed that it disbarred the latter </a>for his "Misogynistic, Sexist, Abusive and Repeated Intemperate Language" against a journalist in a viral video.</p>
<p>But despite the disbarment order, Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin earlier said that <a href="https://www.dzrh.com.ph/post/gadon-to-stay-in-post-says-bersamin" target="_blank" rel="noopener">his status as a lawyer will not affect</a> his work as an anti-poverty Czar.</p>

<p>Gadon first bared that he will be focusing more on projects concerning the nutrition of the youth, starting off with a feeding program called <a href="https://www.dzrh.com.ph/post/gadon-first-project-as-poverty-alleviation-adviser" target="_blank" rel="noopener">"BBM: Batang Busog, Malusog."</a></p>
