Newly-appointed Presidential Adviser for Poverty Alleviation Lorenzo "Larry" Gadon hinted at his intention to run as a Senator in the 2028 election.

In a press conference in Quezon City on Wednesday, June 28, Gadon said that even though running for the coming election is not final yet, it is included in his plans for 2028.

"Well, 'yung nakaraang election ay garnered 10 million votes, and wala pang Igleasia ‘yon. So, meaning ang base vote ko ay 10 million," said Gadon.

Gadon failed to secure a senatorial sit in 2016, 2019, and 2022.
