Last Saturday’s night-out was no ordinary weekend party for the OPM fans who flocked to CCP’s open grounds, as the electrifying climax of the modern Filipino music experience had just arrived—Fusion: The Philippine Music Festival!

The music fest featured some big names in the OPM scene, from across the genres of pop, rock, and hip-hop. Included in its star-studded lineup were folk-pop band Ben&Ben, Maki, Itchyworms, December Avenue, and Zach Tabudlo.

The four-piece hip-hop act Allmo$t, singer and guitarist Barbie Almalbis, P-pop boy group Alamat, and many more also lit up the stage with their dynamic performances.

An unexpected collab for a “CCP version” of Maki’s hit “Saan?” with Ben&Ben twins Miguel and Paolo was a welcome surprise and sure highlight of the night.
