Local oil companies have declared an increase in the prices for petroleum products on Tuesday, June 27.

In separate statements, the companies stated that gasoline prices would be up by 20 centavos per liter, while diesel prices with P1.05 per liter, and kerosene prices with P1.20 per liter, effective Tuesday, June 27.

Seaoil and Shell have scheduled the implementation of these adjustments for 6 a.m.

This announcement follows last week's news of minor reductions in pump prices by the oil firms.

Gasoline prices were decreased by 35 centavos per liter, diesel by 10 centavos per liter, and kerosene by 30 centavos per liter.

According to the Department of Energy, these adjustments have resulted in a year-to-date net decrease of P4.05 per liter for diesel and P6.35 per liter for kerosene.

However, gasoline prices have seen a net increase of P6.35 per liter.
