Oil firms on Monday announced another hike in fuel rates after implementing a major rollback last week.
Beginning Tuesday, March 29, Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp. said it will raise prices per liter of gasoline by P3.40, diesel by P8.65, and kerosene by P9.40.
Cleanfuel, Petro Gazz, Seaoil, and Total said in separate advisories that they will increase per-liter prices of gasoline by P3.40 and diesel by P8.65 starting 6 AM of Tuesday.
Seaoil also announced a P9.40 per liter increase for kerosene.
Other firms have yet to make similar adjustments for the week.
The upward adjustment comes after the first and only time fuel companies slashed prices on March 22.
Domestic pump prices have been on an uptrend in 11 out of the past 12 weeks, due to the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine which has hit global prices.
