<p>A major price increase in petroleum products, nearly PHP 3 per liter, will be implemented starting Tuesday.&nbsp;</p>
<p>In an advisory, Shell and Cleanfuel announced that it will increase prices per liter of gasoline by PHP 2.80, diesel by PHP 2.25, and kerosene by PHP 2.40.<iframe id="google_ads_iframe_/344684475/GNO_Money_Desktop_Outstream_0" tabindex="0" title="3rd party ad content" role="region" name="google_ads_iframe_/344684475/GNO_Money_Desktop_Outstream_0" width="1" height="1" frameborder="0" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" scrolling="no" aria-label="Advertisement" data-google-container-id="2" data-gtm-yt-inspected-9="true" data-gtm-yt-inspected-16="true" data-load-complete="true"></iframe></p>
<p>The changes will take effect at 6 AM on Tuesday, January 24, for all the firms except for Cleanfuel which will adjust prices at 4:01 PM the same day.</p>

<p>In its price monitor updated Jan. 17, the Department of Energy (DOE) said the total adjustments in 2023 stood at a net increase of PHP 3.10/liter for gasoline, PHP 0.80/liter for kerosene; and diesel at a net decrease of PHP 0.20/liter.</p>
