Netflix Philippines is ramping up for 2026 with its boldest slate yet, introducing five Originals — three series and two films — that mix scale, genre, and distinctly Filipino storytelling.
Action fans can look forward to ‘BuyBust: The Undesirables’, a dystopian series starring Pambansang Diyosa, Anne Curtis, and directed by Erik Matti, while horror enthusiasts get 'Balaraw,' an atmospheric mystery rooted in local folklore.
Young adult romance also shines in ‘18th Rose’ with former PBB Collab housemate Xyriel Manabat and Kyle Echarri, while family drama ‘Ganito, Ganyan, Ganoon’ explores the humor and chaos of Filipino family life, led by Jodi Sta. Maria.
Seasonal magic returns with Paskong Pinoy, a holiday anthology featuring a reunion of the beloved ’90s youth show TGIS cast in the episode “Last New Year in Boracay.”
Netflix is also partnering with local networks, including GMA's Master Cutter stars Dingdong Dantes as a double-life bounty hunter.
For the first time, ABS-CBN's Blockbuster princess, Kathryn Bernardo, pairs up with James Reid on a modern romance drama, ‘Someone, Someday’, as they are also joined by Maja Salvador.
Both series would premiere three days before free-to-air TV.
With action, romance, horror, family drama, and holiday nostalgia, Netflix Philippines’ 2026 lineup promises stories that are ambitious, imaginative, and unmistakably Filipino.
