The Metro Rail Transit - Line 3 (MRT-3) is offering libreng sakay or free rides to all Filipino military veterans starting today, April 5.
"Bilang pagdiriwang ng Philippine Veterans' Week at Araw ng Kagitingan, maghahandog ang MRT-3 ng LIBRENG SAKAY para sa mga beterano," MRT-3 said in a Facebook post on Tuesday.
Military veterans only have to present a valid Identification Card (ID) issued by the Philippine Veterans Affairs Office (PVAO) to the station's security personnel.
The companion of the military veteran will likewise be given a free ride.
The libreng sakay will resume on April 10 as the railway will halt its operation amid Holy week, and this will be offered until April 12.
The MRT management has reminded its riders that the last trip to North Avenue and Taft Avenue stations ends at 9:30 pm and 10:11 pm, respectively.
Meanwhile, the first trip to North Avenue starts at 4:30 am while in Taft Avenue at 5:18 am.
