

Frankie Pangilinan divulged that her father, Senator-elect Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan’s daughter, initially planned to step back from politics if he did not make the Magic 12 cut. With over 15 million votes securing him the top 5 spot, Frankie has extended her gratitude to supporters.

Pangilinan also revealed a throwback picture of herself between her father and his ally, Benigno “Bam” Aquino IV, who landed at #2 in the partial, unofficial election results.

When encouraged to run for a government seat in the future, she gracefully responded she did not approve of political dynasties, implying she would not take part in one.
Earlier, her father also expressed disbelief at and thankfulness for the unofficial vote count. According to DZRH Desisyon 2025, he won 15,083,621 votes, placing him just below Erwin Tulfo.
“Sabi ko nga unang nakita ko ang balita, about 7:30-7:45 lumabas na ang initial number, 5 na ako. Sabi ko ‘Teka, sa dami ng binato sa aking fake news, hindi kaya fake news na naman ito?’” the elder Pangilinan said on Damdaming Bayan.
Frankie Pangilinan, whose stage name is Kakie, is Kiko Pangilinan’s eldest child with megastar Sharon Cuneta, followed by Miel and the youngest, Miguel.
