Former NCT member Lucas was recently seen with members of WayV, marking their first public appearance together in nearly three years since his departure from the group.
Despite the controversy, Lucas was recently spotted attending a private event alongside several NCT members. On January 18, videos surfaced online showing WayV performing two congratulatory songs at their manager’s wedding.
It was later confirmed that Lucas was present at the celebration after a group photo with the bride and groom began circulating online. The image also included members of WayV, as well as NCT’s Renjun and Haechan.
Lucas had been on hiatus since August 2021, following controversies related to his past personal relationships and departed from the group in May 2023.
After remaining out of the spotlight for an extended period, he made his solo debut in 2024 and released a documentary detailing his time away from the industry.
However, his return was met with significant backlash. Many criticized both his solo activities and the decision to promote him again, with some fans expressing strong opposition to any interaction between Lucas and current NCT members.
