Nancy is the second K-pop idol to join the agency following Chanty of the K-pop group Lapillus, who joined the artist center back in November 2022.
This is not the first time the 23-year-old former member of the disbanded girl group Momoland signed up for a talent management in the Philippines.
In October 2019, Momoland and its former management company MLD Entertainment signed up with ABS-CBN for a co-management agreement.
McDonie was supposed to star in a series titled "The Soulmate Project" with James Reid but the project did not push through due to the COVID pandemic.
Debuted in 2016 through a reality-talent show, Momoland was best known for their hit tracks "Bboom Bboom" and "Baam" that gained international fame.
On January 27, 2023, it was announced that McDonie, along with the Momoland members, left MLD Entertainment following the expiration of their contracts.
Momoland officially announced their disbandment on February 14 last year.
