Selena Gomez is embarking on a new era in her life, and this time, it’s with her now fiancé Benny Blanco.
Yes, you heard it right! The couple just made their engagement official and both her friends and fans are flooding the singer’s social media page with congratulatory messages.
The news broke out on December 11 (US time), when the Only Murders in the Building actress shared photos of her sparkly engagement ring on Instagram.
“Forever begins now…” she captioned her post.

Meanwhile, the record producer and songwriter responded in the comments, “Hey wait…that’s my wife.”
Gomez previously mentioned being single for five years before being romantically linked to Blanco. She mentioned her plans to adopt a child at 35 if she had not met anyone by that time. However, life had a way of making its detour, with Gomez stating that things just happen when you least expect it.
The pair first met back in 2019 when they collaborated on the “I Can’t Get Enough” track, alongside Tainy and J Balvin. In 2023, they teamed up once again for Gomez’s “Single Soon” track.
In the same year, Gomez made their relationship public.
Gomez rose to fame through the Disney Channel show Wizards of Waverly Place. She has since been a part of several other films and shows, with the most recent one being Only Murders in the Building. She also released several hit songs throughout the years like Who Says, Good for You, and Bad Liar.
