Tastemakers by Mercato Centrale has made a comeback at Ayala Triangle Gardens, and food lovers couldn't be happier.

This food market offers a wide range of local and international cuisine, including favorites like takoyaki, yakitori, tacos, xiao long bao, shawarma, and corndog. With so many stalls to choose from, customers are sure to find something to satisfy their cravings.

But Tastemakers by Mercato Centrale is not just about food. The event also features juice, coffee, and beer for those who want to quench their thirst.

And this year, the experience has been taken up a notch with a vintage car display and good music, thanks to partners Imaginarium Creatives and Vintage Cars Philippines.

Inspired by similar concepts in Italy, London, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Thailand, Mercato Centrale aims to help small businesses grow and expand.

As General Manager, Daniel Aguilar explained in an interview with DZRH Television, the food market serves as an "incubator market," where they train merchants to go big and expand their market profile in the food industry.

"We're not only offering a good ambiance, the major factor is the food mix. The unique food concept that we offer. We select and recruit merchants in such a way that they are offering unique food concepts to the customers that you cannot really see in typical malls or commercial spaces," he said.

"We really want to help small businesses to go big and expand. So, basically, Mercato is an 'incubator market' meaning we train merchants to go big at the same time we expand their market profile to be known in the food industry," the general manager added.

Aguilar's message to interested merchants is simple: believe in their products, have patience, and pray.

"They need to believe in their products and their passion to grow their business and food concept. They really need patience, s'yempre capital. So, capital, patience, and of course prayers," he told aspiring merchants of Mercato Centrale.

So, for those looking for a unique and satisfying food experience, head on over to Tastemakers by Mercato Centrale and support small businesses while enjoying delicious food, vintage cars, and good music.
