Three decades after marriage to President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos shared marriage advice with the 2,023 couples who tied the knot in a mass ceremony on Saturday.
In the event held at the Bacolod City Government Center grounds, Araneta-Marcos said that there is no magic formula for a marriage to work 100%, saying that each couple is unique.
According to the First Lady, a regular date night with their spouse is one of the keys to a better married life.
She added that couples need to take care of each other and be one another's major supporters and ardent advocates.
Araneta-Marcos continued that making a house happy is a haven for loved ones, explaining further the meaning behind "happy spouse, happy house."
Meanwhile, Bacolod City Mayor Alfredo Abelard Benitez officiated the mass wedding and thanked the First Lady for gracing a memorable and historic event in Bacolod City.
