

A fire broke out early Thursday in a three-story rental house in Brgy. San Isidro Galas, Quezon City, resulting in eight confirmed fatalities.
According to RH Val Gonzales' latest report, a total of 8 body bags containing remains were recovered by Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) from the burned rental house.
Initial report stated that the fire started at around 2:00 AM and lasted for 40 minutes before being declared out.
Two of the initial victims were found on the staircase between the first and second floors, while another two were discovered in the restroom on the second floor.

Meanwhile, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) has not yet released an official count of the missing individuals or the total number of tenants in the affected house.

Investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the fire, the extent of the damage, and the total cost of the destruction.
