A blaze that reached third alarm burned a residential area in Barangay Marcelo Green, Parañaque on Saturday morning, September 2.

According to BDRMM-Moonwalk Fire and Rescue, the fire started at 4:34 a.m. at the second floor bedroom of a two-storey house in Sitio Kawayanan, Gawad Kalinga.

The burned house was made of light materials which resulted the fire to quickly spread.

The "fire out" has been declared at 6:57 a.m.

No word yet regarding casualties and property loss.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
