A fire broke out along Road 10 in Balut, Tondo, Manila, on Tuesday morning, August 12, as reported by RH Boy Gonzales.

According to the report, the fire started at 6:07 a.m. in a pile of pallets along Brgy. 128 Mel Lopez Blvd., and was quickly raised to a second alarm.

The blaze also damaged a vehicle that was parked near the pile of pallets.

Eighty families living under the bridge were evacuated as a precaution; however, none of their homes were affected by the fire.
