Approximately 600 families lost their homes after a fire razed residential houses in Sitio Wawa Brgy. Longos in Bacoor, Cavite early on Wednesday, August 7.

According to a report by RH Jecelle Ricafort, the fire claimed the life of senior citizen Paquito Martenito, 63, and injured another individual, Marlyn Catalo, 53.
