

Three people were killed after being trapped in a burning residential area in Barangay Concepcion Uno, Marikina, as confirmed by Marikina City Rescue 161.
In a report by RH Edniel Parrosa, it was noted that the fire consumed eight houses that housed 11 families, equivalent to around 55 people.

The fire broke out at past 8 a.m. and was put out before 10 a.m., with the first alarm raised.
Authorities recovered the bodies of the deceased around 11 a.m., but their identities have not been revealed.
Meanwhile, flames consumed a post situated in front of St. Camillus Medical Center in Barangay Dela Paz, Pasig City.
According to responding firefighters from Barangay Santolan, the fire on the electrical post may have been caused by the intense heat.
The incident occurred just past 9 a.m. and was extinguished within an hour after being doused with water.
Responding firefighters mentioned that the electrical post was live, preventing any major power interruption in the area.
