A huge fire broke out on Sunday morning, at a residential area in Tondo, Manila.
The fire in Isla Puting Bato was raised to the first alarm at 8:02 AM, according to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP). It then escalated to a second alarm, three minutes later.
By 8:16 AM, the BFP raised the fire to the fifth alarm.
Task Force Alpha was reached at 9:02 AM, later reaching Task Force Bravo at 10:13 AM.

In an update, the Manila Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) Office said that reinforcements from the Philippine Air Force aided in extinguishing the Task Force Bravo-level fire in the residential area, using a helibucket.
At 11:52 AM the fire reached Task Force Charlie-level. Firefighters from the Manila DRRM Office and other organizations are also coordinating with each other to extinguish the fire.
Meanwhile, the Manila Public Information Office informed the public of the ongoing traffic buildup due to the fire and advised them to take alternate routes.
Due to the intensity of the fire, Manila City Mayor Honey Lacuna-Pangan also announced that she has instructed the MDRRMO and MSWD to use everything that can be used such as portals, partitions, and medical teams to provide immediate medical assistance to the Delpan Evacuation Center.
As of 2:07 PM, the fire in Tondo, Manila was declared under control.
