A new chapter for the “Final Destination” franchise awaits its audience to witness Death’s twisted and bloody sense of justice with “Final Destination Bloodlines.”

The horrifying and bloody successful franchise has risen from the dead, after its 14-year hiatus. On Tuesday, February 4 (Manila time), Warner Bros. dropped the official teaser trailer for the supernatural horror film.

The over two-minute trailer showed a tattoo artist named Erik, inking his forearm with the word “Dad,” before getting involved in a freak accident and falling to his demise.

According to Warner Bros’ description, the film will take its audience back to the beginning.

“Plagued by a violent recurring nightmare, college student Stefanie heads home to track down the one person who might be able to break the cycle and save her family from the grisly demise that inevitably awaits them all,” the description read.

“Final Destination Bloodlines” features Kaitlyn Santa Juana, Teo Briones, Richard Harmon, Owen Patrick Joyner, Rya Kihlstedt, and Anna Lore, with Brec Bassinger, and Tony Todd.

The latest addition will be directed by Adam Stein and Zach Lipovsky. It will be produced by New Line Cinema, the company responsible for all six films of the franchise.

“Final Destination Bloodlines” will be distributed in theaters and IMAX worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures. Its U.S. release is set for May 16, 2025, while its international release begins on May 14.
