A win remains elusive for the Philippines in the joint qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, and 2027 AFC Asian Cup qualifiers.
The Philippine National Men's Football Team suffered a 5-0 romp at the hands of Iraq on Tuesday, March 26, at the Rizal Memorial Sports Stadium.
The Filipinos never recovered after a brace by Aymen Hussein, and a goal by Amir Al Ammari allowed the visitors to end the first half with a 3-0 lead.
Zidane Iqbal and Zaid Tahseen also contributed to the goal spree that secured the fourth win of the Iraqis in their last four games

The Filipinos, which now have three losses and a single draw in the qualifiers, still have two more games remaining against Vietnam and Indonesia in June.
