The renowned classic “The Little Prince” by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry will be adapted into a Filipino puppet play titled “Prinsipe Bahaghari” this November.
Teatrong Mulat ng Pilipinas announced this in line with the National Children’s Month.
According to a Theater Fans Manila report, “Prinsipe Bahaghari,” written by Vladimeir Gonzales and directed by Aina Ramolete, follows the Rainbow Prince looking for a companion who would care for his flower, the Gumamela.
The Rainbow Prince would embark on a journey with characters to spur realizations on what the Gumamela meant to him.
“Prinsipe Bahaghari” will run from November 10 to 12 and 17 to 19 at the Amelia Lapeña-Bonifacio Teatro Papet Museo, Quezon City.
