

MANILA, Philippines – The Consulate General of the Philippines in Milan extended its condolences to the family of a Filipino household employee killed in a burglary incident in Milan on Saturday evening.
In its post on its Facebook page, the Philippine Consulate confirmed the death of the 61-year old Filipino, who lost his life due to the tragic incident.
The Philippine Consulate cited news reports, saying the victim was “strangled to death” by the suspect who broke into the apartment of his Israeli employer near Parco Sempione.
According to reports, the suspect was arrested by police at the scene of the crime.
The Philippine Consulate assured the public that they will be reaching out to the victim’s next of kin, and to extend whatever assistance that may be needed.
The Consulate requests the Filipino community to pray for the eternal repose of our departed kababayan.
