The Philippines secured a spot in the second round of the 2024 AFC Women's Olympic Qualifying Tournament.
The Philippine national women's football team went undefeated in the second round of the qualifiers after winning against Hong Kong, 4-0, on Tuesday, April 11, in Hisor, Tajikistan.
Sarina Bolden scored the first goal of the Filipinas less than five minutes after the kick-off.
Bolden completed a brace at the 41st-minute mark of the match, and, two minutes later, Meryll Serrano pushed the Philippine squad up, 3-0,
Hong Kong dropped to a 4-0 hole after Quinley Quezada added another goal for the Philippines at the 53rd-minute mark.
The Philippines also routed Pakistan, 4-0, and Tajikistan, 8-0, during the first round of the Olympic qualifiers.
