The Philippine national women's volleyball team salvaged a seventh-place finish in the recent 2023 AVC Challenge Cup for Women.

The Filipina spikers seized a four-set win against Uzbekistan, 25-14, 13-25, 25-18, 25-18, on Sunday, June 25, to end their campaign in the tournament held in Indonesia.

Faith Nisperos scored 17 points, while Shaya Adorador chipped in 13 markers for the victory of the Philippines.

During the tournament held from June 18 to June 25, the Philippines also secured wins against Macau, and India but suffered losses at the hands of Indonesia, Australia, and Iran.
