At just 17 years old, Tallulah Proulx is set to make history as the first Filipina and youngest Filipino ever to qualify for the Winter Olympics from February 6 to February 22.

The Filipino-American skier secured her spot in the 2026 Milano-Cortina Games by earning the required 120 FIS (International Ski and Snowboard Federation) points, a milestone that fulfills a lifelong dream.

Proulx, who has been skiing since age three and competing internationally since age seven, will represent the Philippines in both the giant slalom and slalom events.

Living in Utah near snow-capped mountains helped nurture her passion and sharpen her skills, allowing her to rise quickly through the competitive ranks.

She will be joined by fellow Filipino-Italian skier Francis Ceccarelli, who will also compete in the same events.

While Ceccarelli makes history as the first Filipino alpine skier to earn an Olympic quota spot, it is Proulx’s youth and trailblazing status as a Filipina that marks a new chapter for the country in winter sports.

Both athletes previously represented the Philippines at the 9th Asian Winter Games in China, gaining valuable experience on the international stage.
