Filipino racing talent Bianca Bustamante has been confirmed as the Rookie Test driver for Kiro Race Co. at the upcoming Madrid E-Prix on March 22. The 21-year-old will take the wheel of the GEN3 Evo for the fourth time, continuing her progression in Formula E machinery.
Bustamante first experienced Formula E in the 2024 inaugural Women’s Test and impressed again during the 2025 Berlin Rookie Test and the 2025/26 pre-season Women’s Test. Her performances have cemented her status as a promising young driver within the series.
Last season, Bianca joined the CUPRA KIRO team as their Development Driver, and she is set to compete in the 2026 Eurocup-3 series, further sharpening her racing skills.
“I’m very excited to continue building my experience in Formula E,” Bustamante told reporters.
“After first getting behind the wheel of the CUPRA KIRO in Berlin, my most recent test in Valencia was a really positive step forward. To be back in the car again so soon is a fantastic opportunity to keep learning, push myself, and apply everything I’ve been working on behind the scenes,” the Filipina racer added.
Bustamante previously represented NEOM McLaren at the 2024 Formula E Women’s Test at Jarama, where she claimed the third-fastest time.
The Madrid Rookie Test represents another crucial step in Bustamante’s journey as she continues to gain experience in top-tier electric racing, aiming to make a mark in Formula E and beyond.
