Norway, who places 12th in the FIFA Women's World Rankings, enjoyed a 3-0 lead by the end of the first half courtesy of another goal by Haug, and Caroline Hansen.
The woes of the Filipinas, ranked no. 46 in the world, continued in the second half after Philippines' Alicia Barker conceded an own goal, and penalty kick by Norway's Guro Reiten.
Haug completed a hattrick in stoppage time as Norway secured a spot in the Final 16 of 9th FIFA Women's World Cup.
The World Cup debut of the Filipinas began with a 2-0 defeat from Switzerland, but a historic goal by Sarina Bolde allowed them to sezie a 1-0 victory against New Zealand and kept them in contention of advancing to the next round of the tournament.
