The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) issued an order on Friday informing workers that February 25, the anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution, is a regular working day.
In Labor Advisory No. 02, signed by DOLE Secretary Bienvenido Laguesma, it said that this is pursuant to Proclamation No. 168 issued by Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr., declaring February 24 as an EDSA holiday.
DOLE reminded employees of the pay rule to follow.

It said that the "no work, no pay" principle shall apply to employees who did not work for the day, unless this is inconsistent with company policy, practice, or collective bargaining agreement.
